Miner wines are crafted for the table, not necessarily the critics. That
is to say that rather than exploit all of the tricks of the winemaker's
trade and create overly voluptuous, butter-soaked wines that taste strangely
like furniture, the goal here is to construct wines that embrace and enhance
the dining experience, and not become it. That said, our white wines stray
far from meek and mild. It was Chardonnay put us on the radar initially
back in 1997, and we have remained fiercely true to the varietal ever
since. We believe that with each vintage, we are able to pull from the
hillside vineyards of Napa Valley some of the most spellbinding Chardonnays
on the map. These wines are carefully measured for the correct balance
of abundant fruit, vibrant acidity and warm oak. Not to be overshadowed,
our Viognier has become something of a sensation, particularly to restaurateurs
across the country looking for a suitable chef-friendly alternative to
white wine business as usual. It's a seriously fun wine and well worth
checking out. For in-depth details on each of our white wines, please
