Based on 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Petit Verdot, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville offers darker berries, leather, candied violets, and some spicy, chocolaty nuances. It’s medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, and balanced, with ripe tannins. It’s solid today and should keep through 2034, although I wouldn’t push the aging curve. Drink 2025-2034.
