Slightly deeper hued and completely opaque, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Volker Eisele Vineyard offers smoky black fruits, graphite, crushed stone, and sappy herbs that develop nicely with time in the glass. It’s medium-bodied on the palate, has good concentration, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. This is another well-made 2023 from this estate that should keep for 10-15 years. Drink 2025-2040.
