The 2021 Merlot is composed of 86% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out with exuberant notes of juicy blueberries and baked plums, giving way to underlying spice box, potpourri, and wild sage hints. The medium to full-bodied palate offers bags of bright blue and black fruits, supported by rounded tannins and a lively line, finishing with an herbal lift. – Lisa Perrotti-Brown
