The most expressive wine in the range of 2022s from Miner, if not the most harmonious, the 2022 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard 777 presents a darker shade to its ripe cherry/berry characteristics. The 777 clearly benefits from the aromatic exuberance of its eponymous clone, sprinkling around a whole range of flowery scents. A little alcoholic heat on the finish sets this a smidge out of balance as the 2022 lingers on a note of candied red apple. – Billy Norris
