Quite light in the glass, particularly for this appellation, this bottling begins with aromas of pomegranate syrup, wet gravel, tea leaves and herbs on the nose. There’s a sour cherry kick to the palate, where dried tarragon and loamy earth qualities lead into a French toast spice finish. – Matt Kettmann
