Sourced primarily from Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak and blended with a small amount of Oakville Vineyard grapes, this is a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Cabernet Franc, with small percentages of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Big, tannic and overpowering in its youth, it reveals hints of cedar, pencil shavings and sage, with a rich black-cherry core. – Virginie Boone
