Community and hospitality are at the heart of everything we do at Miner Family Winery. We are proud to support the Community Action Napa Valley (CANV) Food Bank, an essential lifeline providing nutritious food to low-income individuals, families, seniors, and local non-profits across Napa County.
Holiday Food Drive at the Winery
From November 2nd through November 27th, we are hosting a food drive at the winery. All donations will be sorted and distributed by CANV to local families in need within the month. We accept all unopened, unexpired, non-perishable food items.
Most needed items include:
- Canned Soups
- Dry Rice
- Cereal
- Peanut Butter
- Pasta
CANV fights food insecurity year-round through five targeted community programs:
- Emergency Food Pantries: Delivering monthly essential groceries directly to individuals and families in need.
- Silver Fox Program: Providing bi-monthly home grocery deliveries to support local seniors.
- USDA Commodity Program: Welcoming all community members to access monthly food resources.
- Non-Profit Access Network: Supplying partner agencies with low-cost food to expand distribution across Napa County.
- Free Markets: Offering fresh, seasonal produce and supplemental groceries to local residents.
