The 2021 Emily’s Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it is a little shy to start, unfurling to reveal notes of crushed blackcurrants, kirsch, and black raspberries, plus hints of bay leaves and violets. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is tightly wound with crunchy black and red fruit layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and great tension, finishing with a savory lift. – Lisa Perrotti-Brown
